• Description:
  We admit clients who are recognizes to be the Level 1 or above on Care Requirement (yo-kaigo) scale by the Japan's Long-Term Care Insurance System (kaigo hoken) and provide meals, bathing, toilet assistance and rehabilitation in order to help maintain and recover the client's daily functions.
  We respect every client's character and personal history in planning his/her care plan.
• Clients:
  The client must be recognized as Level 1 or above on Care Requirement (yo-kaigo) scale.
  We have a maximum capacity of 50.
• Services:
  Meals, bathing and toilet assistance, rehabilitation, health management, encouraging independence.
  We suggest spending more time in each unit's living room in order to avoid being bed-bound.
  We help the client get changed according to the correct circadian rhythm.
  We pay attention to cleanliness and hygiene at a facility level and also at the client's personal level.
  Meals are served at each unit's living room. Our staff also dine at the same table, and provide support to clients as needed.
  We encourage clients to use toilet assistance in order to be more diaper-free.

  We have brought in the Unit Care System, which divides our skilled nursing home into four units. Each unit functions like a family or a household. We detest an assembly-line like care at Liberal Sunshine, so we aim to establish connections and relationships among clients and staff.
