Day Service Centres (Liberal Sunshine, Kita no Ohisama, Sunrise Nishimura)

We respect our clients' lifestyles and support them so that they can enjoy independent living. We try to prevent nursing care by paying attention to each and every one of our clients' mental and physical health, and work hard on improving it.
There are three day service centres run by the Sunshine Kai: at the head office in Liberal Sunshine (Kamo), at Kita no Ohisama (Yakatazaki), and at Sunrise Nishimura (Nishimura). - Clients:
The client must be certified as Level 1 or 2 on Assistance Requirement (Yo-shien 1 or 2) by the local governing body according to the Long Term Care Insurance System if he/she is willing to use the care-prevention service.
The client must be certifiedas Level 1-5 on Care Requirement if he/she is willing to use our day care service. - Services:

Clients arrive at day service centres.

Bathing time. There are various baths depending on the client's need (publicm private, machine baths). We have rehabilitation training plans after.

Lunch. We can serve porridge instead of regular steamed rice, and minced versions of food according to the client's need.

Recreation time. (Carefully planned in order to increase endurance, and prevent nursing care and dementia).

Clients go home. - Features:
We have day-service busses that runs around the island. If the client cannot come to a bus stop for a physical reason, we try our best to come to his/her door steps.
Lunches at all three locations are delivered from the Sunshine head office, where a local chef from Cuisine Ten'yoshi cooks. - To Apply:

- Keihi (moderate fee)Senior's Home
- A senior residence that provides minimal assistance to ambulatory and independent seniors at low costs
- Tokubetsu Yogo (skilled nursing) Seniors' Home
- A nursing home that provides various cares and services to seniors who are recognized as "yo-kaigo (requiring long-term care)" by the Kaigo (Long-Term Care) Insurance System
- Group Home
- A home where a small number of seniors (usually with dementia) live to attain independence with some assistance from staff
- Day Service
- A service where the client can enjoy meeting other local seniors, and enjoy leisurely and nursing care preventitive activities. Lunch and bathing included
- Care Management
- Government-approved care managers examine the client and make a best plan for his/her nursing care needs and use of services
- Home Visits by Helpers
- Helpers would visit the client at home to help with household activities such as cleaning, laundry and cooking
- Welfare Services for the Challenged
- We also work with the challenged as well as seniors
